Ice-Fire Panel is a new type of architectural decorative material, mainly manufactured by hot-pressing high-density fiber cement board with melamine-impregnated paper. It features Class A flame retardancy, waterproof and moisture-proof properties, thermal and acoustic insulation, light weight, and high strength. Inorganic Pre-coated Board, also known as a clean board, uses 100% asbestos-free calcium silicate board as its substrate, with a surface coated with special polyester. It possesses properties such as fire resistance, moisture resistance, antibacterial performance, and sound insulation. With a density of 1.0–1.2 g/cm³, it is lightweight and environmentally friendly, widely used in subways, hospitals, tunnels, schools, and other places. Its fire performance is Class A, and it exhibits excellent water resistance, corrosion resistance, and antibacterial properties, with easy installation.
Inorganic Pre-coated Board, also called a clean board or compact board (Anti-Beite board), is made from 100% asbestos-free calcium silicate board as the substrate. A layer of special polyester is coated on the surface of the substrate. Its main components include cement, mineral powder, fiber mesh, and other auxiliary materials.

Storage and Handling
Before installation, inorganic pre-coated boards should be kept in their original packaging as much as possible and stored indoors. If stored outdoors, the storage area must be flat, free of standing water, and clear of overhead lifting equipment or heavy objects. Boards should be placed on wooden pallets 20 cm above the ground, with soft materials between boards. Boards of the same type should be stacked together, with clearly identifiable labels on each stack, and covered with waterproof tarpaulins. Temporary barriers should be set up around the storage area to prevent damage caused by personnel movement.
Installation
Mobile scaffolding is generally used for installing inorganic pre-coated boards. In addition to ensuring the load-bearing capacity of the scaffolding, the following factors should be considered:
(1) Distance between the curtain wall surface, work surface, and axis;
(2) Spacing and positioning of control points relative to the reference surface, ensuring visibility;
(3) Spacing of installation angles relative to the reference surface;
(4) Horizontal deviation from the control elevation;
(5) Vertical distance from the building and distances between floors.
When handling inorganic pre-coated boards, both ends should be lifted simultaneously to avoid damaging the surface oxide film or coating. During wall panel installation, only one board should be lifted at a time, using the manufacturer’s specialized clamps at two points along the board’s length. Lifting should be done slowly, with wind ropes for control, avoiding collisions with already installed panels. Protruding parts of scaffolding should be wrapped with soft materials.
Installation Methods
1. Pressure strip method: Features prefabricated assembly, dry installation, modular design, quick and convenient, structurally stable, removable, and serviceable.
2. Back-hanging method: Features structural stability and safety, easy installation adjustments, and reserved gaps for constructing ventilated curtain wall systems.
3. Adhesive method: Features easy installation, cost-effectiveness, and minimal space occupation.
4. Visible nail method: Features safety and reliability, quick and convenient installation, good cost-effectiveness, with decorative nails matching the board color to highlight a rugged aesthetic.
